With Sleep Derivation Comes...
Small moments of clarity that let me advance further into the games I play. It is surprising to me that I can find just the right path or tactic to circumvent my latest gaming block. I could spend about a full hour puzzling over something and not make any progress, but if I was just a wee bit more tired the pieces seem to fall into place and I overcome the thing blocking me. It works on stuff that I have not spent hours on, as new parts come up that would normally stump me for a bit become a breeze. If I come back to it later, I often wonder how I cam up with the exact right solution on my first try no less.

I just thought of why. I am in the same mindset as the people that make games.
ReplyDeleteI'm also in the same mindset
ReplyDeleteWhile thats good, you should also still make sure you get some rest, dont want years off the end of your life do you?
ReplyDeleteits because as your brain gets tired it starts focusing only on the important. when you are wide awake you concentrate on other BS.. great post
ReplyDeletesounds very cool, maybe the drowsiness makes you more relaxed and instead of stressing to find what you have to do next you in a way just go with the flow and find things easier
ReplyDeleteThat's interesting. I'm usually better at games after I've had 5 cups of coffee!
